WHAT IS THE SHOW?

INALA is a Grammy award-nominated dance musical, that delivers all it promises – an uplifting cultural experience powered by an explosion of live music, song and dance. An exhilarating production presenting a beautiful emotional journey that transports you to the heart of South Africa.

With a company of over 25 world-class dancers and singers and musicians, INALA has attracted and united world class talent including dancers from the ROYAL BALLET, RAMBERT and GRAMMY AND EMMY AWARD WINNERS SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR and LADYSMITH BLACK MAMBAZO.

The choreography by Mark Baldwin OBE, is a fusion of South African, contemporary and ballet dance, performed to the original Grammy nominated score by Joseph Shabalala, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and classical composer Ella Spira MBE, blending the intricate rhythms and infectious harmonies of South Africa’s musical roots with live percussion, piano and strings.
