Ella Spira, MBE is a Grammy-nominated composer and painter. With her production company, Sisters Grimm, she is an award-winning theatre producer. Spira has performed and exhibited in some of the world’s most prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Opera House, Hampton Court Palace, Sadler’s Wells, Dubai Opera, Marina Bay Sands and Raffles in Singapore, the Edinburgh International Festival and London’s West End.

In January, Ella extended a remarkable opportunity to talented young people between the ages of 14 and 18 living in New York. Two exceptional individuals, Julia Miranda and John Clarke Jr. (aka Jdccapa), were chosen to co-write and record a song with Ella for her upcoming music video release. The ‘Heart to Heart’ song and music video will be showcased at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City during Ella’s upcoming exhibition, the Global Landscapes Retrospective. The exhibition is set to take place on March 28th and 29th, 2023, and promises to be an unforgettable event.

Renowned for her global cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary collaborations which have seen her receive a Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album, Spira’s music videos launched since the pandemic have garnered over 10 million views worldwide.

Heart to Heart is co-written by Ella Spira MBE and two 17-year-old New Yorkers, Julia Miranda and John Clarke jr. aka Jdccapa who were chosen after an extensive city-wide search for young talents early this year.
