Former NBA player Neil Anthony Edwards has created a painting with Ella Spira MBE (Order of the British Empire).
“I approached Ella at Carnegie Hall because I was impressed with her body of work,” Edwards said.
“I loved that she didn’t consider herself just one-dimensional, nor did she rest on her laurels, but continues to push the bar of her talents.”
Edwards, a former L.A. Clipper, will unveil the work at Rick Friedman’s Hamptons Fine Art Fair July 13-16.
The fair has $150 million worth of art including works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, plus 18 Norman Rockwell paintings and 30 Picassos.
